What is so incredibly ironic is that Adnan Oktar has written a book claiming Holocaust never happened and that death of Jews during world war II was because of a typhus plague! He has accuse jews to be racist and evolution as evil manifestation of buddhism.
AND, this guy and his organization has spearheaded an effort to attack and defame severel prominent Turkish academics, through harassment, threat and slander fliers. In 1999. In fact, 6 of these Turkish professors have won a civil court case against Adnan Oktar’s organization for defamation. The court has decided that ” severe and unjust attack was perpetrated on the plaintiffs’ personal rights, by listing the names of the scientists defending the theory of evolution and describing them as communists and separatists on the flyers distributed by the foundation.”
I find it unbelievable that his lawyers send you a letter accusing WordPress not stopping defamation and slander of their clien, whose organization has been convicted by court for defamation!
Don’t let them intimidate you or WordPress. I think obtaining some advice on International Law that may govern this sort of situations may be a good action. This may be the first but surely won’t be the last such case, as popularity of WordPress grows you may want to be ready for situations like this with law behind you.

I actually just read a little bit of the “Atlas of Creation.” Wow. There are over 20 chapters trying to disprove the theory of Evolution, stating there is no “scientific” evidence to back it up. Then there are 2 chapters trying to prove we were created, without any scientific evidence, basically stating “you just gotta have faith.”
This was my favorite excerpt that I caught, “Living things did not come into being through the imaginary processes of evolution. All the living things that have ever existed on Earth were created by God. This fact of creation is once again revealed in the traces left behind them by flawless living things.”
Logic just doesn’t seem to exist in creationism.

too, but his book “Judaism and Freemasonry” apparently implied that
Jews and Freemasons were intent upon eroding spiritual, religious and
moral values in Turkey which seems rather ant-semitic to me. In
addition, in the mid 90’s, his organization distributed a book which
claimed that the holocaust was nothing but “the death of some Jews due
to the typhus plague”.
These days, his point of view apparently is “why can’t we all get
along?”. The fact that he spent 19 months in a mental institution
might explain a lot.

His very first sentence reads: “When you observe this Earth we live
on, you see that it is a wondrous place that meets all your needs in
the most perfect way.”
Not hardly! If it met our needs, how come pre-school children are
dying at the rate of 12 every minute because of hunger and
malnutrition?
That’s the problem with the theistic approach to life. It has nothing
whatsoever to do with reality.
Harun Yahoo doesn’t do any better with his second “sentence”. Part of
it reads, “…fossil fuels such as gasoline, coal and natural gas that
provide your heating, transport and all kinds of energy
requirements…”. If fossil fuels are so wonderful and so beautifully
designed, how come they pollute so badly and how come they’re finite
and diminishing rapidly?
His fourth sentence is just as stupid: “The millions of species of
living animals, plants and members of the other three kingdoms (fungi,
Protista and Monera) that exist mostly at the microscopic level,
constitute an ideal environment for all of your human needs to be
met.”
This is nothing but an out-and-out LIE. Monera is just another name
for bacteria. The kingdom of protoctista is a group basically
comprised from those organisms which don’t fit into any other group.
Protozoans cause diseases such as amoebic dysentery, malaria, and
toxoplasmoisis. Fungi cause aspergillosis, candidiasis and many of
them are poisonous.
Not all of these organisms are bad, but what people of Yahoo’s ilk are
claiming is that it’s all good. It isn’t. If it was created by a
designer, then it’s either a sadistic one or an incompetent one.
He goes on to ask, “To whom do the flawless features in each and every
species…actually belong?” Flawless? I’ve documented the flaws in
this “design” in a series which currently stands at 160 items.
Yahoo then goes on to lie some more in his very next paragraph:
“Evolutionists seek to answer these questions…by means of the theory
of evolution.” Lie! They’re seeking to answer not questions of how
things are flawless – they’re not and no sensible scientist thinks
they are – but to answer questions of how things came to be the way
they are, regardless of their flaws.
Yahoo goes on (and on): “They claim that life came into being from
inanimate substances, by chance and over the course of time; and that
the variety of life in some way arose from single-celled organisms, as
the result of natural phenomena and random factors. Many evolutionists
have supported these claims ever since Charles Darwin first published
his theory, and have offered so-called proofs with which to back them
up.”
Another lie. Science, unlike theistic mythology, isn’t about proof.
Outside of mathematics, which underlies everything, there are no
proofs. What science is about is understanding, at the deepest level
we can. It’s a pity the shallow theists cannot pursue as noble a goal
as this.
Yahoo blathers: “However, scientific discoveries have refuted the
theory of evolution time and again.” Another lie! There is nothing
known to science that has refuted the Theory of Evolution. There are
many things known to science which refute divine creation as described
in the Biblical book of Genesis.
In the very next paragraph, Adnan Oktar LIES some more: “One of the
greatest problems facing evolution is the extraordinary variety of
living things, and the origin of these species on Earth.”
Darwin took care of that almost 150 years ago.
Then Harun Yahya LIES: “The realization that there are insuperable
genetic barriers between species,”. There are not. And he cannot
name even one.
The the Yahoo goes on: “the sudden emergence of life forms in the
fossil record,” Another LIE. There’s no such thing. But that
doesn’t stop him from continuing this LIE: “and the fact that living
things possess organs and systems that are wondrous marvels of design
unmatched by even the most advanced 21st century technological
progress, have all demolished evolutionist claims.”
What claims are demolished? Yahoo cannot name one. He expects the
Theory of Evolution, supported by quite literally thousands of
scientists of all nationalities and all faiths (and no faith)
throughout the world, bolstered by almost 150 years of solid
scientific discovery published world-wide in peer-reviewed science
journals to roll over and die based on his own blasphemous fiat!
What “evidence” does the Yahoo present? Does he offer any scientific
discovery that better explains the distribution and diversity of life
than does the Theory of Evolution? No! Does he offer any science
which supports some kind of divine creation or intelligent design?
No! He offers Surat an-Nahl, 3-18!
That’s the kind of joke Adnan Oktar is. That’s the level of “smarts”
we see from Harun Yahya. The man’s a joke.
He tries to bolster his juvenile myth in a series of web pages on his
site. I’ll look at these in future editions of this series.

I thought that evolution was destroyed. So why is it still here and accumulating ever bigger amounts of evidence?
The answer is that Harun Yahya has not really put up any logical attack against evolution. Yahya attacks a straw man, his own uneducated conception of what he thinks evolution is. But he fails to adequately explain any of the anatomical anomalies in whales, giraffes and humans with his copied christian creationism.
Meanwhile Dawkins writes a book that explains the evidence for evolution for laymen, while Oktar languishes in prison. Allah supports Dawkins and punishes Oktar.

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.
He asks one of his new students to stand and…..
Prof:
So you believe in God?
Student:
Absolutely, sir.
Prof
: Is God good?
Student:
Sure.
Prof:
Is God all-powerful?
Student
: Yes.

My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.

What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light….But if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.

Existence of brain can be proved logically but no God, for proving God’ existence, Faith ios required, Faith is assumed truth but very far from truth. Faith is required when there is no evidence. ALL the fcukers believers are fools, horribly fools. Concept of God is given by religion, religions are many, every religion thinks its’ own religion is true. All religion contradicts in some way or the others, so hence proved that all religion not true, so their definition of God and its arguments also fails.
